How to Connect a MacBook to an Epson PowerLite 78 Projector

With video technology constantly changing, you may not find it immediately obvious how to connect your Macbook to the Epson PowerLite 78 multimedia projector. The Epson PowerLite 78 projector, now discontinued, does not have any similar ports to those on the side of your Macbook. Apple's video out port, the Mini DisplayPort, is relatively new technology, so you will need the official converter to export your display: a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter.

Instructions

1. Connect the Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter into the Mini DisplayPort on your Mac.

2. Connect the other end to the back of the Epson PowerLite 78 projector.

3. Switch the PowerLite projector on.

4. Click the "Apple" logo on the menu bar on your Mac, then click "System Preferences."

5. Click "Displays" and choose the location and configuration of your display.
