How to Make a Bracelet Rack
Storing jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces in drawers often makes them end up in a tangled mess. To prevent this problem, many people prefer hanging their easily tangled longer pieces of jewelry on racks or other jewelry organizers. For people who want to not only hang up their bracelets, but also display them, a jewelry tree is a great option. By using a jewelry tree as a bracelet rack, all of your bracelets can be conveniently displayed and will never tangle.

1
Place a decorative tree branch into a wide-based vase. The height of the vase should be at least one-quarter of the overall height of the branch to ensure stability. Manzanita branches work particularly well. Purchase painted or glossy coated branches for a more finished look, or faux branches in varying styles.

2
Fill the vase with decorative stones or marbles. You'll want to select a heavy filler so the base of your tree has enough weight to support the branch and all your bracelets without becoming unsteady. As a general rule of thumb, fill your vase approximately 3/4 of the way with your filler. Adjust the branch so it stands straight and sits in the middle of the vase.

Mix the acrylic water and add it to the vase. Acrylic water is a two-part mix; pour the two parts into a pitcher and mix with a spoon. After the acrylic water is mixed, you have 20 to 30 minutes before the mixture starts setting, so don't mix it until you're ready to pour. Slowly pour the acrylic water into the vase while avoiding splatter. Fill the vase to just above the top of your stone or marble filler.

4
Allow your bracelet tree to set for 24 to 48 hours before placing your bracelets on the tree. Place it somewhere it won't be disturbed to prevent your branch from leaning and losing its position.
