Instructions

  1. Personalized Candy Wrappers

    • 1

Choose printer paper in a color that matches your wedding decor.

    • 2

Type on the computer the details you want on the candy wrapper. For instance, you can include your name, your husband's name, the date of your wedding, and a heartfelt phrase such as "Thanks for sharing in our special day."

    • 3

Add an image to the words you've typed, such as a picture of a flower that you used to decorate the tables, or additional stripes or polka dots in the other wedding color.

    • 4

Print the message onto the paper.

    • 5

Wrap the paper around the chocolate bars or candy, and tape the ends of the paper together so that the wrapper doesn't slide off. Make sure you've wrapped the candy so that the typed words are on the front of the bar, reading from left to right.

    • 6

Tie a satin ribbon around the candy bar to complement the wrapper color and make the candy bars a noticeable part of your decorative scheme.

    • 7

Dust the outside of the wrapper with glitter in the appropriate colors to make the favor more appealing.

Comic Book or Newspaper Wrapped Candies

    • 8

Cut a sheet of newspaper in half, or tear a page from a comic book that displays you and your husband's favorite characters. For instance, choose the section of the newspaper that announces marriages to use as a wrapper for the candy. Or wrap candy bars, cookies or peanut brittle in comic book paper that features the Peanuts characters if the comic was a childhood favorite.

    • 9

Wrap the paper around the candy of your choice; ensure that the paper entirely covers the candy.

    • 10

Fold the excess paper to the candy, and tape the paper to the candy bar. Or wrap the paper around the peanut brittle, fudge or cookies as if you're wrapping a large piece of candy.

    • 11

Tie a ribbon either in the middle, on the sides, or on top of the candy -- wherever the paper gathers. Choose ribbon that matches the colors of the reception.

    • 12

Glue a synthetic pearl to the middle of each of the bows.
