How to Make an Easy Tissue Paper Corsage for Mother's Day

A tissue corsage is a gift your mother can cherish forever.

On Mother's Day, it is important to show the women in your life how much they mean to you and others around them. One way to do this is to give handmade crafts that are both beautiful and meaningful. For example, you can create floral corsages out of pastel tissue paper that can be found at any craft supply store. Once finished, your mother can wear her tissue paper corsage on Mother's Day.

Things You'll Need

• Pinking shears
• Chenille stick
• Safety pin

Instructions

1. Cut out 10 8-inch circles from pastel tissue paper using pinking shears. This will make the edges of the circles ruffled.

2. Stack the circles together.

3. Pinch the middle of the stack together, and twist the end of a chenille stick around it to secure it.

4. Separate the tissues to fluff them out into a flower.

5. Curl the other end of the chenille stick into a loop. You can pin the loop onto your mom's shirt to put on the corsage.
