1
Paint or wrap the cardboard pants hanger tube so that it is completely covered. If you are using ribbon, hot glue the top edge just inside the tube and begin wrapping it until the tube is covered. Hot glue the bottom edge inside the bottom of the tube.

2
Insert the silk flower stem into the cardboard tube so that the flower is flush with the top of the tube. Use hot glue to secure the underside of the flower to the tube.

Cut ten 24-inch strips of curling ribbon. Gather them all together and find the middle. Tie the bunch of ribbon around the top of the tube, directly under the flower, so that there is 12 inches of ribbon on each side. Secure the ribbon knot with a dot of hot glue if desired.

Curl the hanging ribbon pieces by drawing the underside of each ribbon along a sharp edge of the scissors quickly. Use your thumb to hold the ribbon against the edge of the scissors as you pull the ribbon across.
