Place a pea to quarter sized amount of gel in your palm. Long, thick hair will require a larger amount of gel. Rub hands together and then begin applying gel to your hair, starting at the back, underneath side of your hair. Work gel throughout hair from roots to tips, using more gel as needed.

4
Using your fingers, toss hair to separate the strands. Then take sections of your hair and squeeze and scrunch in your palm to promote your natural curl pattern.
-
5
Using a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, dry your hair from roots to tips, lightly brushing your fingers through your hair as you dry. Diffusers are great for curly hair, as they help prevent frizz. Air drying your hair also works well.
