How to Make Pogo Emoticons
Pogo.com is a website that offers online games to people of all ages. Some of the game types you can play are word, card and puzzle games. There are several free games on Pogo.com and also games only available to Club Pogo members. While chatting with a friend during a game, a Club Pogo member may want to add an emoticon. An emoticon, short for emotion icon, lets you know how another person is feeling.

Pay for a Club Pogo membership if you don't already have one. Everyone can see a Pogo emoticon, but only Club Pogo members can send them via chat. You can choose to pay at the monthly or yearly rate.

Choose a game to play on Pogo.com. Once you do so, you will see free game rooms and Club Pogo member only rooms. Select a game room, and be ready to wait a few minutes while the "room" loads. If a pop-up blocker is installed on the computer, make sure it is disabled. A Pogo game will not load properly with an active pop-up blocker.

Notice the chat box after the Pogo game has finished loading. It is located on the right hand side of the game window. At the bottom of it is a smiley face icon, which is a Pogo emoticon. Click on it to view over 20 emoticons. To send an emoticon, click on one of the emoticons and hit the "Send" button. It will show up in the main chat or private chat next to your Pogo screen name.

Tips & Warnings
Keep the Pogo game window open to view additional Pogo emoticons. Select the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner of the game window. It can be found beneath "Main Chat." Once the About Chat window opens, click on the tab titled "Emoticons." You will see the Pogo emoticons and the special codes assigned to them. As a reference to Club Pogo members, Pogo has also added the meaning of all listed Pogo emoticons.
