Instructions

    • 1

Lay a bath towel out on a flat surface. Fold into thirds lengthwise. Repeat with the second bath towel. Pin one end of each towel with safety pins to connect the two towels so you are left with one very long towel folded into thirds.

    • 2

Start at one end and roll tightly. Make sure the towel remains even throughout. Lay the towel on its side. Make sure the top is flat and even, if not re-roll the towel until you end up with flat ends. Wrap a ribbon all the way around the towel and tie tightly into a bow. This should keep the towel in place. If not insert a couple decorative straight pins along the open side edge.

    • 3

Repeat steps one and two using three hand towels. However instead of folding the hand towels into thirds, fold 1/2 to 3/4 of the way over. After rolled place this layer on top of the bath towel layer.

    • 4

Repeat steps one and two using three washcloths. Set this layer on top of the hand towel layer.

    • 5

Wrap a ribbon all the way around the three layers. Wrap the ribbon around the bottom first and bring the ends up over the side and tie into a knot at the top. Repeat again with a second piece of ribbon perpendicular to the first so the ribbons form a cross under the first layer. Bring up the ends and loop under the first knot then tie in a knot. Take all four ends and tie into a bow.
