How to Enter GameShark Codes
Mad Catz Interactive makes the GameShark, a cheat device that allows you to excel quickly in video games. Some of the many cheat codes for the GameShark include infinite life, power and money, and points. The cheat codes are loaded into the memory of the game console and then loaded into the game. Users search through an extensive code menu to find and select codes specific to the game in which they are playing.

Insert the GameShark cartridge or disk into your game console.

Select "Expert Cheat Mode" from the GameShark menu. Search through the list of games and select a game by highlighting its title and pressing the action button on your controller.

Select the codes you wish to use by pressing the "Start" button and selecting "Start Game" with cheats on. The codes are recorded to the memory once this has been selected.

Remove the cartridge from the console. Insert the game cartridge or disc into the console. Press the action button on your controller to continue, and the codes load into the game.

Tips & Warnings
Codes can also be inserted at specific points or levels in the game by pressing a sequence of buttons on the controller to apply the cheat code. Many cheats can be found in video game magazines and online gaming websites (see "Resources").
