Instructions

1
Find pictures to use in your collage. Determine if you want to cover an entire scrapbook page or posterboard with pictures or if you want to use a few that will leave some of the page's background showing.
-
2
Cut out the part of the photos and pictures you want to use in the collage. Removing the white border around photos is a good idea when creating a collage to achieve a softer look.
-
-
3
Rub the edges of the photos and pictures with ink and slightly smear the ink with a tissue for an even softer look to the collage.
-
4
Arrange the photos and pictures on the table first before applying them to the scrapbook page or posterboard.
-
5
Prepare the scrapbook page or posterboard by adding a background such as layers of scrapbook paper, or stamp images onto the page using a theme to go with the collage. Let the page dry.
-
6
Glue the collage to the scrapbook page or posterboard. Make sure the photos and pictures that overlap are adhered well to the page.
-
7
Embellishment the collage as desired. Adding ribbon as a frame around the entire collage or a trio of buttons in one corner can help make the photo collage page look more polished.
