Make your own bat and hang it up for a spooky decoration.

Decorating for Halloween doesn't always require a trip to the store. Involve your kids in making Halloween bats to hang around the house. This also is a good activity for a Halloween party or school event. Decorate the bats however you like; get creative. Hang the bats using double-sided tape or attach them to monofilament string to make it look like they are flying through the house. Make a garland of bats to decorate your mantle or hang on the front door to greet guests.
