How to Solve the Puzz 3D Notre Dame
Hasbro's Puzz 3D Notre Dame is one of the easier three-dimensional puzzles to complete. The basic polygon features of the Notre Dame puzzle make it one of the best entry level 3D puzzles. The puzzle can typically be completed in two to four hours of work. Solving puzzles promotes strong logic and problem-solving skills. Solving a three-dimensional puzzle actively engages your cognitive processes in critical thinking and is a great way to exercise your brain.

1
Separate the 366 puzzle pieces and organize them according to shape. Identify the jigsaw pieces and square pieces and separate accordingly. Some of the easiest pieces to identify are the 31 arches. Keep the arches in their own pile. Discard any pieces with red dots on them. These are not part of the puzzle. Don't worry about the decorative pieces; they will be added last.
-
2
Place the foundation in a suitable working space. Keep in mind the dimensions of the finished product when choosing your work space.
-
-
3
Construct the sections of the puzzle by identifying pieces based on color and shape. Most of the sections are formed exclusively from square pieces. Pay special attention to the art work to make sure it aligns when attaching pieces together.
-
4
Visualize your puzzle being built from the ground up. Much of your puzzle will remain hollow when finished. Attach the sections to each other in vertical format.
-
5
Construct the three-tiered back section and attach it to your base. Remember, the base should be underneath all other pieces being vertically constructed.
-
6
Use the photographs on the back of the box to help construct the two wings of the cathedral. Assemble and attach them to the base.
-
7
Complete the front view of Notre Dame by attaching the two tower structures to the corners of your original perimeter. The two pieces should look identical.
-
8
Build the main entrance section, which also includes the two spires. Again, all of these pieces will be square or corner pieces.
-
9
Separate the flat and arched roof structures. Attach them to the top of the structure accordingly.
-
10
Punch out the buttresses from the cardboard template and attach them to the puzzle. Cut out the spire and attach it to the center of the building.
