How to Find Beans in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Game for Game Boy Advance SP
Based on the best-selling books by J.K. Rowlng, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second game in the Harry Potter series for the Game Boy Advance SP. When playing the game, you'll follow the main events in the book with the addition of interesting side-quests. One important side-quest you'll encounter throughout the game is to collect all the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans hidden in Hogwarts. By using the Flipendo spell on various objects, you'll find hidden beans that you can trade-in for Silver Magi Cards that increase Harry's stamina, special Quidditch armor that helps Harry play Quidditch and items necessary for Harry to create a Wiggenweld potion.

Cast the Flipendo spell on all vases, bushes, suits of armor, chests, drawers, desks and pictures that you encounter when walking through Hogwarts. If the items contain a bean, you'll capture the bean when you hit the item with Flipendo. There is no penalty for using this spell, so when in doubt, cast the Flipendo spell at an object.

Ride above Hogwarts on your Nimbus 2000 broomstick and fly through the colored rings. Fly through a blue ring for 10 beans, a red ring for three beans, a green ring for two beans and a yellow ring for one bean.

Duel everyone who challenges you to earn many beans at once. To win the duel, use variations of the Flipendo and Expelliarmus spells while dodging around the room. If you are patient and alternate between spells, you will win most battles.

Complete the Bean Challenges. If you earn enough House Points, you qualify to visit the Bonus Bean Room. You earn House Points by winning Quidditch matches and catching the golden snitch. Challenges in the Bonus Bean Room appear at random points during the game. If you don't complete the challenge, you'll still keep all the flavored beans that you do collect before time runs out.
For Bean Challenge 1, collect 10 blueberry flavored beans by dodging fire-spitting statues and rolling barrels.
For Bean Challenge 2, collect 15 cabbage flavored beans by jumping on the blocks in the center of the room. Move fast before the blocks crumble beneath you.
For Bean Challenge 3, collect 20 banana flavored beans by running through a maze and avoiding ghosts in your path and floor tiles that spit fire. Make sure you have full health and a Wiggenweld potion before starting this challenge.
For Bean Challenge 4, collect 25 chocolate flavored beans by jumping across blocks and platforms.

Make a note of items that release the most beans and revisit those items. After a time lag, as short as a few minutes or as long as a day, the game restores the beans. Cast Flipendo again on those items to collect the beans.
