How to Eliminate Seam Lines on Gundams
While Mobile Suit Gundam appeared on Japanese television in the late 1970s, its popularity has not decreased. In 2009, a 59-foot Gundam towered over Tokyo. In 2008, the Japan Science and Technology Agency estimated it would cost $725,000,000 to make a 60-foot, 100,000-pound Gundam, without including the cost of labor, weaponry or the mechanics to make it fly. You, however, need not be limited by these considerations, for you can make scaled-down models of these ferocious humanoid robots. And thanks to a few helpful tips, you can eliminate seam lines on Gundams. Whether they fly is entirely up to you.

Fit the two pieces together and squeeze. Apply more cement to the outside seam, then clamp the two pieces together either with a rubber band or a clamp. Let dry over night.

Dampen your sandpaper with water. Lightly sand the same, removing any excess cement. Do not press too hard or you might create a gouge.

Tips & Warnings
Some cement meant for plastic comes with a built-in brush inside its lid. If it does not, use a brush you're prepared to sacrifice for this purpose.
