How to Make a Glycerin Soap Bubble Bath

Make your own bubble bath with glycerin soap.

A glycerin soap bubble bath allows you to enjoy a relaxing bath without the addition of preservatives and other chemicals. Commercial soap bubble baths often include ingredients that are not natural, and they can often irritate the skin. You can make your own bubble bath at home with a liquid glycerin. Give away homemade bubble baths to friends and family members, or make them to sell at a boutique shop.

Things You'll Need

• 1 qt. warm distilled water
• 1 4 oz. bar castile soap
• 3 oz. liquid glycerin
• Essential oil

Instructions

1. Grate the castile soap into small flakes.

2. Combine the water, soap flakes and liquid glycerin.

3. Stir until the soap flakes dissolve.

4. Add 3 to 4 drops of your preferred essential oil.

5. Store the bubble bath in an airtight container. The bubble bath will last for one month. You may need to shake it slightly before each use.

Tips & Warnings

• Purchase liquid glycerin at most craft store.

• Avoid using too much essential oil because it can irritate your skin.
