• Plaster bandages
• Water
• Large bowl

Instructions

Preparing plaster bandages

1. Dip the plaster bandages into water.

2. Let the plaster bandages soak in the water for about one minute.

3. Wring out any excess water.

Creating the arm cast

1. Wrap the arm with the elastic bandage and plastic glove, covering the entire area that you intend to plaster.

2. Cover the arm with the plaster bandages and allow them to dry.

3. Apply extra coats of plaster bandages as needed to achieve the desired thickness. Allow to dry.

Removing the cast

1. Cut the cast with scissors.

2. Peel the cast off carefully.

3. Remove the plastic glove and the elastic bandage that were protecting the skin.

Finishing the cast

1. Place some newspaper inside the cast to fill the empty space.

2. Place more plaster bandages over the cast to build it up until the cast is about one inch thick.
