1
Purchase as many picture frames as needed for the wedding favors. Start shopping at discount stores early if you need a large quantity of frames.
-
2
Remove the back and glass from the frame. Bend the tabs back that hold the backing and glass to the frame. Tabs can be bent back using your fingers or a table knife. Store the glass in a safe area to prevent damage.

3
Use acrylic craft paint and a small brush to paint the frame a color that coordinates with the wedding's color theme. Paint the frame with primer if the frame is dark. The primer will cover the dark color and the acrylic paint will adhere better to the frame.
-
4
Purchase a craft hot glue gun and glue sticks. Use the glue gun to attach decorations to the wood frame. Keep tweezers handy for placing small objects onto the frame.
-
5
Decorate the frames according to the season. Purchase small silk flowers, autumn leaves, or mistletoe. Trim the stems or anything that is not necessary with a wire cutter. Leaves and petals can be pulled off the stem. Use the glue gun to attach the silk decorations to the corners or the entire frame.
-
6
Attach beads for a more elegant looking frame. Beads can be purchased at craft or discount stores. Set large beads at each corner and smaller beads to fill in the rest of the frame.
-
7
Attach small seashells to the frame for a beach wedding. Small shells can be found at craft stores and attached with hot glue.
-
8
Wipe the glass to remove smudges and place it back inside the frame. Replace the back of the frame and secure it with the tabs. Store the frames in a safe place until the wedding day.
