How to Make Strawberry and Vanilla Bubble Bath

How to Make Strawberry and Vanilla Bubble Bath thumbnail
Fresh strawberry beauty products are a fresh alternative to processed products.

Strawberry and vanilla bubble bath is a natural alternative to store-bought bubble baths that are often full of potentially dangerous additives and chemicals to scent the water and help the soap lather and form bubbles. Homemade strawberry and vanilla bubble bath works just as well as any commercial bubble bath without the use of chemicals, and its pleasant smell is wonderful for both children and adults. Making your own bubble bath will also save you quite a bit of money over buying bubble bath from retail stores, and it can be a rewarding activity to do with children. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings

  • You can buy unscented shampoo base, liquid glycerin and essential oils at almost any health food store or online through a number of specialty retailers.

  • To use, half-fill a tub with warm water. Add two tablespoons of the bubble bath and get in the tub. Continue filling and soak for 30 minutes. Rinse the skin with warm water after bathing and pat dry with a clean cotton towel.

  • Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade skin care product in an aluminum or copper container, as there is serious concern about heavy metals entering the body through the pores.
