In a few minutes you can turn a bed sheet into a Greek or Romanesque toga that will have you ready for a costume party, kid's play or fraternity/sorority event. This simple and easy wrapping style requires only simple household items, and is the perfect last-minute solution to any dress-up needs.
Put on undergarments. Remember that a toga, for men, reveals the top half, so only undershorts will be necessary. Women should choose a matching tank top or swimsuit top to avoid revealing too much.

Hold the twin size sheet horizontally. Wrap the sheet around your waist once. Estimate whether you have enough fabric to wrap a second time around, depending on your size and how much fabric you want to play with for the top half of your toga. Wrap a second time, if desired.
3
Grasp your toga fabric where the second (or first) wrap around your waist meets the edge of the sheet underneath. Insert a safety pin to hold the edge and center fabric together. Be sure that the tail end, or remaining loose fabric, is angled up your chest towards your shoulder after pinning.
4
Bring the remaining part of the sheet up over one of your shoulders, as desired. Allow the fabric to drape down your back for a casual look. Pin the sheet diagonally across your back for more secure coverage, pinning where the fabric meets your waist. Consider tucking in the fabric without pins for a more adjustable look.
Tips & Warnings
Women can use extra pins to secure front fabric to the tank top or swimsuit top.
Carry two extra pins in case one of your pins breaks.
