How to Design Your Own Graphics for Your Dirt Bike

Graphics can help personalize a dirt bike.

Designing your dirt bike graphics will make it identifiably yours. You can include your own symbols to represent you, your group or your friends. Graphics can be created for a blog, website, advertisement or for stickers. A popular design for dirt bikes is fire coming off the wheels to represent intense and skilled riding.

Instructions

Sparks from Wheels

1. Open an image of sparks in a graphic editing program such as Photoshop, Firework, Artrage or Corel.

2. Select a section of the sparks image, using a tool such as the lasso tool, and add feathering to the selection to smooth out the edges.

3. Click on the transformation tool and adjust the sparks as needed to make it appear as if the sparks are flying out.

4. Click on the eraser tool, and with a soft brush erase any unwanted edges, color or sparks in the area that will appear above the wheel.

Fiery Text

1. Create your text using a dramatic font such as Trajan. Open an image of flames and set it against a black background.

2. Click on the "Channels" tab and click on the "Red Channel." Your image will turn to black and white.

3. Copy the "Red Channel" and paste the flames into your text layer.
