How to Create a Meez Avatar
Meez is a 3D character creation service that allows you to create an avatar. Your avatar can look like you, or you can let your imagination run wild. Meez takes away a lot of the safety concerns of using your real picture as an avatar. With a Meez, you can show the online world your personality and creativity so you don't have a standard avatar photo. Meez is free to use, but there is a VIP membership available for a price.

Sign up for Meez. In order to save a Meez avatar you'll have to be a member of the site (see Resources section below for a link). You can use the MeezMaker without being a member, but you won't be able to export your creation.

Decide whether you want to use Coinz. Coinz are the currency used on Meez. You can buy Coinz with a PayPal account or credit card. Coinz allow you to buy premium items for your avatar. There are plenty of free items to use to create your picture. You can sort items by price to find accessories that are free to use. Your final avatar may say Meez.com in the corner, depending on the size you choose.

Choose a gender for your avatar. The MeezeMaker is pretty versatile. You can try on different hairstyles and clothes. The only thing that you can't change about your Meez is the gender. The gender also determines which hairstyles and clothing options you'll see.

Choose the face and features for your avatar. If you use your face shape, the Meez will look like you. You'll even be able to tell how certain hairstyles might look on you. Choose your nose shape and eye color.

Dress your Meez. Avatar pictures are usually small. You might not be able to see the entire outfit that your Meez is wearing. Pay attention to the top half of your Meez, which will show in the avatar picture.

Add special effects. Choose a background for your Meez avatar. You can even animate your avatar to perform actions, such as flying or running. These animations might not work depending how you export your Meez.

Export your Meez avatar. You'll have to download or export the Meez before you can use it as an avatar. There are several ways to use a Meez avatar. You can use your Meez virtually anywhere on the web. You can link to your avatar or download the picture to your computer. The download process will turn your avatar into a JPG or GIF file. Use the avatar on a blog, web messenger, or message board.
