"The Simpsons," the longest-running animated series in TV history, features a family of oddly-shaped people with yellow skin. The look is such an iconic part of the series that as part of "The Simpsons" movie promotion, a website was launched that worked Simpsons-like features into a downloaded photo.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit simpsonizeme.com. Pick out a facial feature, clothing and accessories for a Simpsons-like image.

    • 2

Upload a photo from your computer to the site.

    • 3

Click the "Simpsonize Me" Button. It takes the computer a minute or two to generate a template combing your picture with Simpsons traits. Use the provided grids to alter the eyes, hair, facial features and accessories as you see fit.

    • 4

Visit heavygames.com and its game, "The Simpsomaker." This game, which is not official, starts with a generic yellow-skinned character. Use the buttons on the right of the screen to alter the head, eyes, nose, hair, body, specs and the scene around the character.

Tips & Warnings

  • Both sites offer an option to print the final image.

  • You may need to check the websites frequently. In July of 2011, "The Simpsomaker" took a long time to load, and the "Simpsonize Me" had a message asking viewers to check back later.
