A Lemon.
A Lemon.

This is how to start your own lemonade stand!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Poster
  • Card table or other table
  • Construction paper or computer paper
  • Drawing and coloring tools
  • Money Box
  • Tape
  • Lemonade!
  1. Step 1
A Lemonade Stand Flyer. (There Are No Real Addresses!)

Make Signs. Make colorful signs, that say where your lemonade stand is going to be, and how much it costs. Make sure that it is very colorful, and eye-catching! Then, post then up at places that people will notice them, especially inside stores.

  2. Step 2

Find Costs. Find out how much it costs you to make/buy the lemonade. Then, find the price per cup that it should be. To do this, you must subtract the total cost of the lemonade from your projected profit, and divide it by the number of cups you aim to sell.

  3. Step 3

Poster. Create a vibrant, eye-catching poster, that says "Lemonade" on it and the cost of a cup. Also, try to put words like "Gourmet" to entice people to your stand, and pictures of lemonade, and lemons.

  4. Step 4

Set Up. Tape your poster onto the card table, and place some of your extra lemonade signs on the table, so that people will come back and tell their friends. Put your money box in a safe place. You might want to set up in your front yard, or maybe in front of a supermarket. As long as you get a lot of customers. Now you are ready to sell!

Tips & Warnings
  • Never put the prices too high or too low. Otherwise, no one will buy from you, or you will not get enough money.
  • Don't be discouraged if you do not sell that much on your first try. There are always other days.
  • Make sure the day isn't too cold. People will not want to buy a cold drink on a cold day.
  • ALWAYS GET PERMISSION!
  • Be careful, and keep your money safe.
