How to Make Bay Rum
Bay rum is a cologne and aftershave that was very popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The ingredients of bay rum recall its Caribbean and colonial roots with oil extracted from the West Indian bay tree and rum from the tropical cane fields. Today, there are several companies in the UK and Caribbean that have proprietary recipes for Bay Rum, but it is also possible to make this classic scent at home. Many of the essential oils listed here are available in bulk from online wholesalers like Wellington Fragrance Co and Essential Wholesale. Does this Spark an idea?
