Great, sassy beachy waves are in for summer. The allure of touchable waves can't be denied, though it may seem hard to pull off. However, this is a misconception. In a few simple steps, you can have a fabulous wavy style in just 10 minutes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Flat Iron Blow dryer Heat protection spray
  1. Step 1

Start with a clean, dry hair when working with heat, so wash and condition your hair thoroughly. Be sure to rinse with cold water to lock in shine, and blow dry completely before starting.

  2. Step 2

Turn on your flat Iron; while it's heating, apply heat protection spray.

  3. Step 3

Separate hair into even sections (for most people, about five) and then braid each section loosely.

  4. Step 4

Run the flat iron down each braid for about 10 seconds each, then release.

  5. Step 5

Let the style cool for 2 minutes and then undo the braids carefully. You should have loose waves. Apply hairspray, and you're all done.

Tips & Warnings
  • After the hair is unbraided, try not to touch, as it will frizz up the waves.
  • Dirty hair tends to burn when heat is applied to it, so always wash and blow dry first.
