Things You'll Need:
- Graph paper
- Printer/scanner

Step 1
Make a list of the Easter-related words you want to use for the Easter word search. Double-check that each word is spelled correctly by referring to a dictionary or a word processor's spell checker. Use 12 to 20 words for children and 30 or more words for an adult word search.

Step 2
Use a pencil to print the longest word on graph paper. Put one upper case letter at a time in a single square on the paper.
Print the word on the diagonal or backward for a challenge. -
Step 3
Print all of your words on the graph paper. Print them horizontally, vertically, diagonally, forward or backward for a variety. Be sure to mark off each word as you enter it on the Easter word search.

Step 4
Trace over each word when they are all entered into the word search with a black ink pen.

Step 5
Scan and print off the Easter word search that you have filled in so far. This will be the answer key.

Step 6
Fill in all the empty squares on the graph paper within the word search with random letters using a black ink pen.

Step 7
Decorate the word search sheet with clip art or Easter stickers. Stencil or hand-print a title at the top of the sheet.

Step 8
Write all of the words at the bottom or side of the puzzle for the word search clues. Scan and print copies of the sheet.
