Instructions

    • 1

Place some water in a large pot and then put the smaller pot inside it. This acts as a double boiler.

    • 2

Heat the water up and then add 12 tbs. of almond oil to the small pot.

    • 3

Add 8 tbs. of white beeswax and turn the heat setting down to low.

    • 4

Stir the mixture continuously so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.

    • 5

Remove the mixture from the heat after it is completely melted. Immediately add 45 drops of your favorite essential oil.

    • 6

Stir the pot until everything has been completely combined.

    • 7

Pour the mixture in to small glass vials. If you don't have any you can use empty baby food jars.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use more than one essential oil if you would like to make your own combination of fragrances. Just divide up the amount of drops between the oils. Purchase glass vials at your local craft store.

  • The stove and water in the large pot and the wax mixture get really hot. Be careful not to get burned.
