How to Make a Business Card on Microsoft Word

Business cards can be a very successful way to advertise your business. Large companies increase their business exposure simply by distributing business cards to potential clients. Business cards are extremely helpful for small and home based business too. This article will give you instructions on how to create a simple business card using Microsoft Word.

      Open Microsoft Word on your Computer.

      Click on "Tools" at the top of the page. It is located just below the blue bar.

      Click on "envelopes and labels."

      Click on the "Labels" tab, it is located right beside the envelope tab.

      Click on "Options" on the right hand side of the box.

      In the second drop down window, choose "Avery Standard".

      Look for the product number window. It is the larger window that is located on the left side of the box, just below the two smaller windows. Scroll down to "3612-business card" and then click OK.

      Type your Business Information in the address box.

      Before you click on print, look in the area just below the address window. You have two printing options located in this area. You can choose to print a full sheet of business cards, or you can choose to print just one. After you make your choice, click on the print tab located on the right side of the window. Congratulations! You have just created a business card using Microsoft Word.

  • Print one business card first to make sure that all of the business information you entered is correct.
