Personalized stationary is great for sending letters for all kinds of things, including thank you letters. The decoration should say something about who the sender is as well as identify attributes of their personality. The following article will help you to design and make personalized stationary.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start your personalized stationary by getting a piece of blank white computer paper.

  2. Step 2

Add a personalized quote to the top of the page. This gives the reader a little bit of insight into your mind. Make sure you use black ink and do not leave deep impressions in the paper as this can cause it to look weird when it is copied. Calligraphy pens can be great for this type of application.

  3. Step 3

Add embellishments to the page. Personalized stationary can’t have too many embellishments as long as they are meaningful or pretty and they do not take up more room than the actual writing area on the page. Instead of doing just swirly vine like patterns, consider adding embellishments that actually are meaningful to you.

  4. Step 4

Photo copy the personalized stationary onto nice paper like parchment or resume paper. Make sure it is copied dark, but not so dark that it washes out the drawings. This will give it a more finished look.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want you can also make personalized stationary using the same techniques on the computer. This also allows you to print them in color.

on 12/16/2008 The more personalized the better it's nice to receive a card that has been made and not purchased on a whim. 5*
