Instructions

    • 1

Remove your nylons, pantyhose or tights and stretch them over an object so they are pulled as tight as they would be if you were wearing them. This is so you do not get nail polish stuck to your skin. Be sure to stretch your nylons over something smooth that will not cause another hole, such as a shoe or shampoo bottle..

    • 2

Paint the edges of the hole with clear nail polish to prevent the hole from turning into a run. Apply a generous coat. Cover the entire hole and about 1/4 of an inch all the way around it.

    • 3

Let the first coat dry. Apply another coat of clear nail polish and let dry.

Tips & Warnings

  • In a pinch you can use colored nail polish, however, the color will show.

  • You can use clear nail polish to keep a run from becoming worse by applying two coats of clear nail polish to the top and bottom of the run.

I'm usually wearing the pantyhose when I add the clear nail polish. It kind of sticks to your leg a little when you remove it later. But works great and lasts through several washes.

I do that all the time, but usually I am wearing them when I apply the polish. lol I try to keep clear just for an emergency but sometimes it seems like all I have are some weird colors.
