How to Draw an Ear

Many people think that the human ear can be one of the most difficult body parts to draw. Actually, when it is broken down into some simple shapes, it can be much easier to draw.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pencil
  • Paper
  1. Step 1

    Start by drawing two 'c' shapes that connect.

    Draw another 'c' shape inside of the first one.

  3. Step 3

    Draw a 'B' shape by the end of the 'c' at the top of the ear. Curve it around in a kidney-shaped loop until is gets back to the top of the 'c'. Lengthen the two 'c's until they almost meet in the center of the loop.

    Add shading to the ear and you're done.

Tips & Warnings
  • Human ears come in all shapes and sizes. Practice drawing as many as you can.
