Select a group of friends to play the dice game Aces against. This is a game that is great to play at social gatherings. The minimum number of players in a game of Aces is 4 and the maximum number is 10. The ideal number of players for Aces is between 6 and 8 players.

Give each player 5 dice, and direct each player to roll all 5 dice . The player with the highest total takes the first turn. If there is a tie, have those two players roll again to break the tie.

Ask each player to place a pre-determined ante into the pot. This is the money that the winner of Aces will receive.

Take turns starting with the first player, and continuing in a clockwise rotation around the table. A player rolls his or her dice that are in front of him or her during his or her turn. Any dice with a one that is rolled are removed from the table, any dice with a two on it is passed to the player on the roller's left. Finally, any dice with fives on them are passed to the player on the roller's right. The roller continues rolling until he or she has no dice remaining, or fails to roll a one, two or five. At that point it is the next player's turn to roll.

Continue playing the game with players taking turn in order at the table until only one die is left at the table. The player that rolls a one on that final die wins the entire pot of antes.

Tips & Warnings
Keep in mind one player could have many more than his or her original five dice to roll on his or her turn based on the number of dice received from other rollers.
It is best to play with low stakes in this game for gambling, as the winner is determined purely on the luck of the dice.
