How to Create a Listening Device
You can make a listening device to spy on a private conversation with walkie talkies. Walkie talkies are perfect for this kind of spying because they are wireless and can be hidden in a room fairly easily.

Purchase or acquire two quality walkie talkies.

Press down the talk button on one of the walkie talkies.

Place masking tape on the talk button and wrap the tape around the walkie talkie making sure to cover the talk button.

Lay a small paper clip or another small object on top of the talk button. The masking tape will protect it from being damaged by the paper clip.

Continue to wrap the walkie talkie with masking tape, covering the talk button. This will keep the talk button on.

Hide the walkie talkie with the masking tape around it in a room where you want to spy and listen in on its occupant's conversation.

Go into a separate location when no one can hear your walkie talkie so that you can listen in on the conversation in private.

Listen to the private conversation to your heart's content.

Tips & Warnings
Remember to set both walkie talkies to the same channel.
Make sure that the walkie talkie hidden in the room is hidden well so that it can not be seen, yet not completely covered up so it can still pick up voices clearly.
Make sure you have a quality set of walkie talkies. A cheap walkie talkie has too much static and it is very hard to hear anything said that is not spoken directly into the walkie talkie.
You can also use baby monitors if you do not have access to walkie talkies.
