How to Design Your Own Superhero
Superman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Batman are some of the more popular superheroes. We read about these characters and their adventures when we were kids and maybe even spent a few days pretending we were those characters. If that was you then you might have even dreamed about designing your own superhero. There are dozens of ways you can create a superhero of your own, but your first stop should be the UGO website. Their hero machine allows you to design your own superhero and choose all everything your character needs.

1
Visit the Hero Machine page of the UGO website. UGO specializes in all things relating to comic book characters including movies, reviews and articles on past comic related news. Once there you’ll have three options to choose from relating to characters, but pick the Superhero option for now.

2
Choose the type of superhero you’d like to make. They have three options to choose from and you can experiment to find the one you like best. The Blaster and M-Artist options allow you to create male or female characters, while the Brick selection only lets you make male characters.

Wait for the basic outline of your character to load on the page. This figure is outlined, but the features remain completely blank so you can design anything you want within their parameters. It may take several minutes to load the blank figure depending on the speed of your connection.

Make changes to your character by clicking on the options to the right of the screen. You can change the clothing, accessories, hair style, face and a variety of other options. You can also change the color of those accessories by clicking on the color palate at the bottom of the screen.
-
5
Name your character by double clicking on the space marked as name underneath your character. Once you’ve done that, you can save your character to your computer or print the character out for future use.

Tips & Warnings
Change the features by clicking on the option you want such as face or hair. Then click the right or left arrow to switch between the different options, which will automatically appear on your character.
Keep a copy of your superhero for use later. This gives you a basic idea of the kind of character you want to create. You can use your original design as a template for later use.
The website sometimes takes longer than a few minutes to load, even if you have a fast connection speed.
