A personal and romantic gift to give to your wife is a poem composed by you. By writing down the feelings from your heart, telling your wife what you love about her, your favorite memories and why you want to be with her forever, you can rekindle some romance into your marriage. You don't have to be a professional writer, published, or even an expert in poetry. The only thing you need in order to write this poem, is the love that you have for your wife.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Write down some of your favorite qualities about your wife on a sheet of paper. Think of the things that she does for you and why she makes you happy.

  2. Step 2

Think about the qualities that make your wife the beautiful person that she is. Write those down as well.

  3. Step 3

Turn on one of your favorite songs that the two of you like to listen to together. If you have a special song that is "your song," listen to it to see what memories it can bring back for you. Write down some of your favorite memories with your wife.

  4. Step 4

Compose some lines that include the qualities of what makes your wife beautiful. Then write down lines that explain your love for your wife. In the middle, write about your memories, and then at the end, describe how you would like to spend the rest of your life together.

  5. Step 5

Present this poem to your wife for her birthday, an anniversary, Valentines Day, a Christmas present, or just because. You can have it typed and put into a card, or place it in a frame so your wife can treasure it forever.

  6. Step 6

Be ready for tears, a lasting kiss, or even a hug of happiness. Perhaps there could be a night of passion to follow. Your wife will love this thoughtful gift from you.
