There are many suggestions as to how to clean golf club grips. Regardless of how you clean your grips, someone will always have a better way. The following steps will help you to easily remove the grime that builds up on your golf club grips.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dish-washing detergent
  • 2 soft cloths
  1. Step 1

Gather all the materials you will need to clean the grips. Place your materials next to the sink you will be using to clean your grips.

  2. Step 2

Fill the sink you are using to clean the grips with warm (not hot) water. Use the stopper to hold all the water in. As the water is filling up the sink, squirt the liquid detergent in. You want a lot of suds.

  3. Step 3

Use the wet cloth to gather plenty of suds. Rub the suds into each golf club handle until you are satisfied they are all clean. For handles that are extremely dirty, washing more than once may be required.

  4. Step 4

Place each golf club handle under the warm, running water to rinse the suds off. Make sure you do not get water on the shaft of the club. By doing so, the shafts will rust.

  5. Step 5

Use the dry cloth to dry each golf club grips as soon as you have rinsed them. Rub the dry cloth over each shaft as well to make certain there is not water on this area. Once you have washed and dried the first club handle, move on to the next club and repeat the process.
