Things You'll Need:
- Brown sweat suit
- Brown felt
- Tan felt
- Yellow felt
- Sewing machine
- Stuffing
- Brown baseball cap
- Craft wire
- Large black craft pom
-
Step 1
Begin with a brown sweat suit. Cut out a large oval from the tan felt for the stomach. Sew this on.
-
Step 2
Cut two carrot shapes from tan felt. This will be the nose. They should be about 12 inches in length for an adult and around 9 inches for a child. They should be wide enough at the base to fit around the bill of a cap, or about 8 inches. Sew them together, turn inside out and stuff generously.
-
Step 3
Fit the nose around the bill and sew onto the cap turning edges under as you go. It may help to bend a craft wire in half to a V-shape and tape to the bill before sewing on the nose for extra structure. It needs to be able to stand alone and not flop in the face. Finish the nose by sewing on a small sound black ball at the end.
-
Step 4
Cut out two circles from the tan fabric, about 7 inches in diameter. Fold in half. Sew the edges almost complete. Turn inside out, and stuff generously. Then complete the stitch. You should now have two half-circle shaped pillows that will be Wile E. Coyote's cheeks or jowls.
-
Step 5
Sew the two half-circle shaped pillows onto the sides of the brown hat. They need to hang down to the sides of the face, so only the top inch or two of the pillow should be sewn onto the bottom inch of the sides of the hat.
-
Step 6
Cut four large ear-shapes from the brown felt for the ears. They should be tall and pointy at the ends. Sew together the long sides, and then flip inside out. Sew on two smaller ear-shaped pieces cut from tan felt. Stuff the ears with wire and stuffing for support. Sew on the ears to the top of the hat, tucking edges under as you go.
-
Step 7
Sew on two small oval shapes cut from yellow felt for the eyes. They should set right next to one another and right above the snout.
