Halloween brings out the devil in all of us, so why not be a devil for Halloween? Create an inexpensive, simple devil costume by rummaging through your closet and wearing your most devilish attire. Finish the look by adding horns and a tail. Enjoy your Halloween events in your own clothes while participating in the spirit of the day. Have a sinfully good time but remember there will be the devil to pay tomorrow.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Devil accessory kit
  • Pitch fork
  • Black clothing
  • Red accessories
  • Cape
  • White facial powder
  • Black eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Red lipstick
  • Black or red nail polish
  • Long fake nails
  1. Step 1

Search Internet merchants for a prepackaged "Devil Kit" that contains horns and a tail. Purchase a kit and consider buying a devil's pitchfork also to accessorize your costume.

  2. Step 2

Look in your closet for black attire. Choose a black suit or dress for your devil costume. Add red accessories to create a devilish look. Consider adding a black wrap or cape to your costume.

  3. Step 3

Apply white facial powder to give yourself a pale appearance. Highlight your eyes with black eyeliner and mascara. Add red lipstick to finish your look.

  4. Step 4

Paint your nails black or red. Apply and paint long fake nails for a more devilish appearance.

  5. Step 5

Put on your horns and tail. Pick up your pitchfork and walk out the door.

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy the devil horns, tail and pitchfork instead of making them. It is cheaper to buy them than to make them yourself, but remember to shop early and compare prices.
  • Most costume stores carry some form of a devil kit.
  • Adapt this costume for children by dressing your child in black leotards or sweats. Remember to buy a child size devil kit.
