Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Measure the length around your neck and multiply it by 12.

  2. Step 2

Cut two strands of hemp twine equal to this number. Fold them in half, forming two loops.

  3. Step 3

Place the loops side by side around the left index finger.

  4. Step 4

Holding both loops between the right thumb and index finger, slide them off the left index finger. Pinch all four strands together with the left thumb and middle finger about 4 inches below the gathered loops, leaving the index finger free.

  5. Step 5

With the right hand, wrap the twine around the left index finger. Be sure to leave a little slack in the section of twine wrapped around the index finger.

  6. Step 6

With the right hand, push the gathered loops through the section of twine wrapped around the left index finger as you pull that finger out.

  7. Step 7

Pull the loops through the hole with the right hand while using the left hand to pull the four free strands in the opposite direction.
