Instructions

    • 1

Measure your friend's wrist to know by how much you need to lengthen the friendship bracelet.

    • 2

Cut the homemade friendship bracelet where it was tied off. Remove the beads closest to the ends, if there are any, to allow you more work space.

    • 3

Cut your needed length from your skein of embroidery floss. Cut that length in half.

    • 4

Tie and knot a piece of embroidery floss to each end of the bracelet. Make sure the extra pieces are even in length to ensure the bracelet doesn't become lopsided.

    • 5

Add your beads back to the bracelet and add extra beads to cover the new knots where you added embroidery floss. If you didn't have beads on the original bracelet, consider adding them now to cover up the knots.

    • 6

Knot the ends of each side of the bracelet and then tie the bracelet back together.
