How to Make a Graphic Oval in InDesign
InDesign uses frames as placeholders for graphic elements. You must first create a frame to hold the element before it can be arranged on a document. You can create the frame in either an ellipse, rectangle or polygon shape. Oval frame shapes are best designed with the ellipse tool. When you place the graphic in the oval frame, it takes on the frame's oval shape.
