Add a bit of glamour to your venue's chairs.

When you begin to decorate the chairs at your wedding venue, the chairs' shapes have much to do with the way you attach the arrangements. Additionally, because many venues no longer permit the use of tape on chairs, brides have looked to other methods for hanging their wedding aisle decorations. These include tying the arrangements to the chairs or hanging them with the help of pew clips. Whether your decorations are pomander balls or miniature bouquets of flowers, there is a way to integrate your arrangements into your wedding day decor.

Wrap a loop of floral wire or ribbon around the base of your floral arrangements and tie it tightly at the back. Thread the remaining ends around a side support and tie the ends together to keep the flowers secure. To cover the wire, you can either tie a length of tulle around it or wrap a strand of ribbon around the side support and flowers. This method works well when working with wooden folding chairs. Alternatively, if your chair backs have high spokes on the sides and low middles, you can tie your ribbon in a knot and slip it over the top of the spoke.

Tie a wide sash around the back of the chair at the point where the sides and seat meet and wrap the knot's loose ends around your floral arrangement. You can either leave the knot at the center back of each chair or you can adjust the aisle chairs' sashes so that the flowers face out into the aisle.

Hang a pew clip on the back of each aisle-side chair. Pew clips are clear plastic hooks designed to hold wedding decorations such as flowers and bows. These work well for square-shaped chairs that do not have any obvious openings or spokes to add your arrangements. At this stage, you may either hang the ribbon of your pomander from the hook or tightly wrap a loop of floral wire or ribbon around the base of your floral arrangement. Twist the wire or knot the ribbon at the back of the display and slip the pew clip's hook through the loop created.
