How to Open an INDD File With Photoshop

The INDD file format is an Adobe InDesign file, which is often used in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop can import InDesign files so that you can graphically manipulate them with Photoshop's tools. This is often done because Photoshop has more image manipulation tools than InDesign does, as InDesign is meant to be a design layout software program, not an image editor.

Instructions

1. Open Photoshop.

2. Click "File" then click "Place."

3. Navigate to and click on the InDesign file you want to import.

4. Click "Place" then press "V" and click "OK" to accept the import of the file.
