How to Keep Jeans Smooth Under Boots
Wearing your boots pulled up over your favorite jeans is fashionable and also protects your jeans from the elements if you live in a particularly wet climate. Start by wearing jeans with a slim leg or skinny cut -- these have less fabric in the leg, particularly in the calf and thigh areas -- and will look better with tight boots. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Pull your jeans on and wear a belt. Belting your jeans keeps your paints at the appropriate height and avoids having pants spill down into your boots. This makes jeans look clumped under boots, which is a fashion no-no.
-
2
Place elastic bands around your denim at three points along your calf. These bands will keep your jeans in place and prevent the look of too much fabric or unnecessary lines.

3
Pull on your boots -- bring them up carefully and then fasten any zippers or the like. Your boots will remain in place for the day and look smooth as you while you do errands, work, or attend special events.
