What Are the Rules to the Naruto Card Game?
The Naruto card game is one of many types of battle-style games using collectible cards based on a Japanese anime show. The rules of play are similar to other card games like Yu Gi Oh, though with slight variations. This is one of the simpler anime card games to play.
-
Starting the Game
-
A Naruto deck has 40 cards with no more than 25 Ninjas or three of the same cards. Players start the game with six cards and draw one card on their turns.
Types
-
The cards are either Ninja, Mission or Chakra cards. Ninja cards are organized in groups to attack, Chakra cards build up power to play certain cards, and Mission cards have various effects that can affect a player's turn.
-
Warning
-
You can only play one Ninja and Mission card on a turn. The card's "entrance star" number must be equal to or less than the number of turns you have played. You can't have more than one Ninja in the game with the same name.
Attacks
-
A group of Ninjas can attack or block an opponent's attack. The group with the highest combined attack power wins, and the losing group is injured (turned sideways to represent). An injured group that loses a battle is discarded.
Scoring
-
A player scores a point when his attacking Ninja group is not blocked. He takes the top card from the opponent's deck and places it face down in his victory area.
End of Game
-
The game is won when a player has 10 battle points, or when a player runs out of cards and has therefore lost.
