Victoria Lee Blackstone is a horticulturist, owner of a plant nursery and a professional writer. After studying botany and microbiology at Clemson University, Blackstone worked in the Horticulture Department for the University of Georgia as a Master Gardener Coordinator. She has written more than 2,000 published works, including research papers, horticultural articles and magazine and newspaper columns.
