The TMC-212 is a lawn irrigation controller manufactured by Toro for residential and commercial use. Founded in 1914, Toro has been in the lawn maintenance business for the better part of a century. The company has expanded its network of distributors, dealers and retailers, conducting business in nearly 80 countries. The TMC-212 can be programmed to provide lawn watering for a specific schedule and duration. Regular inspection and care of the TMC-212 can help optimize its continued performance.

Check the circuit breaker if the display is blank and the controller fails to operate. If the circuit breaker has been tripped, reset the breaker. Unplug an electrical device which uses the same circuit and reactivate the TMC-212 controller.

Enter a station time if a watering station fails to turn off. This might be due to no station time being entered. Turn the control dial to the “Station Times” position. All stations with run times will appear at the bottom of the display. Make sure the Programs switch is set on the desired program. Press the “Next” button to cycle through the available stations. Press the “+/ON” and “-/OFF” buttons to increase or decrease the time. After selecting the desired time, turn the control dial back to the “Run” position.

Reset the Season Adjust setting to 100 percent if the program starts again after it completes a watering cycle. Turn the control dial to the “Season Adjust %” position. Make sure the Programs switch is set on the desired program. Press the “+/ON” and “-/OFF” buttons to adjust the value to 100 percent. Turn the control dial back to the “Run” position.
