Laminate flooring has the look of hardwood, but costs significantly less. Laminate floors come in a variety of wood colorings to accent any home decor. Although the flooring is quite resilient, scratches can occur over time. If left, the scratches build up with dirt, leaving the floor looking drab. Removing scratches on the laminate flooring allows the wood appearance to shine through.

Place 1 tbsp. of wood filler on a piece of cardboard. Apply 2 drops of the toner to the putty, and mix it with the handle of a wooden spoon. Continue placing drops of toner into the wood filler until it matches the laminate floor color.
Scoop up a small amount of the filler with a plastic putty knife, and deposit into the scratch. Continue to fill the scratch with the wood filler until full.
Wipe the excess filler from the scratch with a damp rag.
Avoid walking in the area for 24 hours to allow the filler time to firm up and dry.
