How to Make Kitchen Cabinets Shine

Things You'll Need

  • 0000 steel wool

  • Wiping cloth

  • Mineral spirits

  • Wood finishing oil

Adding oil to your cabinet will increase the shine.

If you have an older home, chances are the cabinets have not been replaced. Over time, the finish that was applied to the wood will break down and lose the shine. If your cabinets look dull and old, you can use oil to make them shine and look new again. Don't refinish your cabinets--oil them yourself and save money.
