Liquid Smoke is a liquid product that cooks can use as an ingredient in many different savory recipes. Liquid Smoke imparts a distinctive smoky taste to dishes when you add it and many people enjoy the rustic and natural flavor achieved by using Liquid Smoke. Use Liquid Smoke as a key marinade ingredient when preparing chicken for a flavorful chicken dish.
Measure and pour the oil, Liquid Smoke, thyme, oregano, rosemary and minced garlic into the small glass bowl. Mix the ingredients well to create the marinade.
Place the cut-up chicken into the shallow ceramic dish and pour the marinade over the chicken pieces. Use your clean hands to rub the marinade over all surfaces of the chicken.
Cover the ceramic dish with plastic wrap and place it into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Marinade the chicken for up to 24 hours, if desired.
Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for one to two hours. Insert the thermometer probe into the thickest portion of the largest chicken piece. When the temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, remove the chicken from the oven.
